     Contents:

       - file containing 16 802 observations of eclipse events on 284 
         oppositions of Jupiter since June, 1652 to November, 1983, 
       - these observations are made from 426 observatories,
       - it provides, 
	. the observed time of the mid-event (UT), defined as the date when one 
          measured the half-brightness.
	. the type of the event D (disappearance) when the satellite went into 
          the umbra cone, R (reappearance) when it went out of the cone,
        . the method of observation V:visual or P:photometric
	. the a priori uncertainty, sigma, in seconds, 
	. the time interval TQ, difference between the time of the last 
          speck and the mid-event on disappearance or the difference between 
          the time of the first speck and the time of the mid-event on 
          reappearance. It represents the semi-duration of the event,
	. the codes of site of observatiom and the one of the publication in the 
          form used in the NSDB database.

       - no residual O-C is provided in this file, these valuees are avalaible 
         in the standard files directory.

         This is a sequential file and each observation is given as a record of
