I. General Information

   This directoy hosts the GAIA DR2 star catalogue ready to be used in Audela 
   software (253 GiB).

   More info about the GDR2 catalogue: https://www.cosmos.esa.int/web/gaia/dr2

II. Installation and update

   * From scratch: 
     - Download the GDR2 source files from ESAC (553 GiB):

      $ gunzip Index_of_Gaia_gdr2_gaia_source_csv.html
      $ tclsh
      % source downloadGDR2.tcl

     - Compile and execute the software to put in form the catalogue

      $ cd src/MakeCatalogGaia/linux && make && cd ../..
      $ ./MakeCatalogGaia/makeBinaryGaia Index_of_Gaia_gdr2_gaia_source_csv.html csv ./

     - The catalogue (253 GiB) is available in the 'dat' directory

   * Download pre-formed catalogue: 

      $ ./get_GAIA2.sh

     - The catalogue  (253 GiB) is downloaded from IMCCE's ftp in the 'dat' directory
