Dear Francois,

 now you caught me. I put Markus on the cc, he will shout if I write
something wrong.

If the record is from PPMX, then the b1 column contains the GSC1.2
magnitudes, and the r1 column contains a magnitude '' in the UCAC system''
which is calculated from 2MASS according to a receipt as given
by:

Piskunov, A. E.; Kharchenko, N. V.; Chupina, N. V.
        Optical extension of the 2MASS infrared catalog
Astronomy Letters, Volume 34, Issue 4, pp.256-265

It was my fault in PPMX to use this receipt in the few cases
where no 2MASS identification has been found (right or wrong).
In this case, of course, the value in the r1 column is complete
nonsense.

So, whenever the 2MASS magnitudes say 'None'
r1 must also be 'None'.

I'll have a look on the ReadMe to see, if we should add a remark.
