	Abstract :  The riemannian (sectional) curvatures in the 
	
	configuration space of the planar three body problem are given in 
	
	order to develop a qualitative study of the problem. Concrete 
	
	results are presented in some particular cases, where we can 
	
	conclude on the sign of these curvatures. This will give 
	
	informations on the stability of the trajectories .
