Controlling the minor planets observational data with CERES software package. Yu.A. Chernetenko, V.N.L'vov, V.A.Shor, R.I.Smekhacheva, S.D.Tsekmejster CERES software package makes available the basic ephemeris data connected not only with minor planets (MP) but comets and major planets for any astronomer. One can store and manage various MP data and observatories coordinates within the internal databases, calculate for any moment MP coordinates and their first two derivatives referred to various planes and centers, visualize MP tracks on the selected sky area against a stars background, simulate MP orbital motion. New additional facilities are elaborated. Now a user can import any star catalog for using in CERES package, calculate global and topocentric ephemerides for MP occultations of stars, generate a list of numbered and unnumbered minor planets visible in selected sky region for any moment. These options can help any observer in controlling the quality of his own photo, CCD or photoelectrical occultation observations before publishing and in searching the new objects on the sky. With the identification and orbit determination options which are now elaborating CERES software package may be useful in monitoring of solar system objects including near Earth asteroids.
