RESEARCH OF SOME ASPECT OF ATMOSPHERE DYNAMICS BY SYNCHRONOUS ASTROMETRIC AND BAROMETRIC DATA V.L.Gorshkov, G.V.Kirian, N.V.Scherbakova Pulkovo astronomical observatory Pulkovskoe sh. 65/1, St.Petersburg, 196140, Russia D.G.Kirian Institute for Problem of Mechanical Engineering Bolshoy 61, V.O., St.Petersburg, 199178, Russia This research was made for detection of large-scale atmospheric waves that have show itself in optical observation through refraction perturbation. That use of optical ground observation in dynamics of Earth atmosphere may be a new field of employment for optical time and latitude service instruments. The data used in this study are based on optical Universal Time (UT) observations produced mainly by Pulkovo's photoelectric transit instruments (PTI) during 1964-1994 and synchronous barometric sets. The hourly barometric data in St. Petersburg was accumulated from 1845 up today. These UT observations are partly included in the internatio- nal data-base of individual star observation for new global adjustment of Earth orientation parameters in Hipparcos reference frame. For pre- sent research these observations were revised in new catalogue based on readjustment of available for us PTI's observations. That and other steps of data improving were made for the best distinction of high frequency part of investigated spectra. The averaged spectrum of the star by star observation sets has most of power in range of period 20-40 minutes. Especially interesting feature of investigated spectra >from geodynamics point of view is a presence of Chandler period in ba- rometric set.
