AUTHORS : Bretagnon P., G. Francou

ADDRESS : IMCCE - Observatoire de Paris
77 av. Denfert Rochereau, F-75014 PARIS

CONTENTS :

Geocentric positions of the planets between 1990 and 2010 in dynamical time.

Apparent geocentric right ascension.
Apparent geocentric declination.
Geometric distance planet-Earth.
Transit at the Ephemeris Meridian.

SOURCE :

The ephemeris of the planets are computed with the planetary theory VSOP87 :
Bretagnon P., Francou G.
Astron. Astrophys. 202, 309 (1988).

FILES :

The files are in the sub-directories :
/pub/ephem/planets/geopos/mercury
/pub/ephem/planets/geopos/venus
/pub/ephem/planets/geopos/mars
/pub/ephem/planets/geopos/jupiter
/pub/ephem/planets/geopos/saturn
/pub/ephem/planets/geopos/uranus
/pub/ephem/planets/geopos/neptune

There is a file for each planet and each year.
The generic name of the files is "NAME.YAA" where NAME is the name of
the planet and AA the number of the year in the century.
Example : JUPITER.Y01 for the ephemeris file of Jupiter in 2001.
