SATEL/phemu97: 

          Every six years, the Earth and Sun cross the orbital planes of the
          Galilean satellites of Jupiter. We can then observe eclipses and 
          occultations of a satellite by another. These mutual events lead to
          highly accuracte astrometric observations and allow us to access
          some physical data related to the surface of these satellites.
          At the Bureau des longitudes we organize an international campaign 
          named PHEMU97 in order to observe the mutual events of the Galilean 
          satellites of Jupiter.
 

          In this directory, several files give details on these predictions 
          to observe these phenomena.

          
          The WEB server http://www.imcce.fr will next give also data concerning 
          the PHEMU97 campaign and allows us to collect observations and 
          information from the observers.
