CONTENTS :

Ephemerides SLP96 : Solar, Lunar and Planetary ephemerides 1550-2350.

These ephemerides consist in tables of Chebychev's polynomials coefficients
which represent the mean coordinates J2000 of the Sun, Moon and 8 planets
Mercury, Venus, Earth-Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune
    on the time span 1550-2350.

They have been computed with the theories of Bureau des longitudes
VSOP87 (Sun and planets) and ELP2000-82B (Moon).

DESCRIPTION :

The ephemerides SLP96 are available in 8 sequential ASCII files slp96.
Each one has the same structure and contains Chebychev ephemerides
covering a century within the interval 1550-2350.
Fortran programs allow the user to install the files and to compute
    coordinates of the bodies.
A file of test values is also provided for checking the coordinates
    after the installation.
Explanations about files SLP96 and sofware package are given in the
    file slp96.doc.
